Our Company
The idea behind Senior Place started long before the company did. More than 30 years ago, Jason watched his grandmother care for her aging mother at home. She loved having her mom with her, but the responsibility was exhausting, and finding the right help and care options was difficult.
Years later, while working in software, Jason began thinking about how technology could make that experience easier for other families and the professionals who serve them. That exploration eventually led him to the senior placement industry, where he and JD founded Senior Place in 2017 and began building software around the way placement professionals actually work.
As Senior Place grew, customers who also operated home care agencies kept asking for the same intuitive experience in their home care businesses. We listened, interviewed more than 30 home care operators, and expanded Senior Place with tools designed specifically around home care sales, referrals, and client growth.
Today, Senior Place serves both senior placement professionals and home care agencies. The markets are different, but our goal is the same: build powerful software that feels natural to use, listen closely to the people using it, and make their work easier every day.

Co-Founder & CEO
Determined and creative, Jason’s leadership style is driven by a desire to build software that makes a meaningful difference for the people using it and the families they ultimately serve. When not at work, Jason enjoys visiting national parks with his wife and four kids, as well as playing board games and ultimate frisbee.
JD
Co-Founder & CTO
A systems savant with a keen ability to problem solve, JD pushes for excellence in Senior Place in everything from security to customer experience. In his off-time, you’re likely to find him spending time with family, playing pickleball, or enjoying board games.
